Black Murrah Buffalo

This breed is from Rohtak, Hisar & Jind of Haryana state and Nabha and Patiala districts of Punjab state. This Black Murrah Buffalo is of excellent body confirmation, good udder, tightly curled horns and dairy temperament. It has great tolerance to hot and cold climatic conditions and is regular breeder. Daily lactation in peak period for Black Murrah Buffalo is 14 to 15 litters but upto 31.5 Kg milk production has also been recorded.
